The School of Health Sciences (SHS) is one of the ten schools in the College of Science, Engineering and Health with over 3000 students spread over our undergraduate, postgraduate and research degrees in the areas of Complementary Medicine (Chinese Medicine, Chiropractic and Osteopathy), Nursing and Psychology. The School offers accredited programs for practitioner registration by the National Boards and the Australian Health Practitioner Regulatory Agency. The School's research activities place emphasis on multi-disciplinary approaches to the expansion of knowledge to support evidence-based healthcare. The School has cutting-edge laboratory and clinical facilities, which are organised to promote collaboration between the research groups.

The School is currently seeking to appoint a Lecturer, a Senior Lecturer and an Associate Professor in Clinical Sciences. These positions will work with research teams and partnerships in the School and Research Institutes. These roles will primarily plan, develop and engage in high quality research projects that are aligned with the University's and School's research focus areas. They will embed their research expertise into the life of the School through the development of high-quality, productivity-driven research networks across RMIT and with local and national, internal and external partners. You will be expected to engage in high quality research projects, to achieve success in attracting competitive external research funding and to produce high quality research outputs. These positions will also supervise research students (honours and HDR) and undertake teaching duties consistent with your level of appointment.

To be considered for Lecturer or Senior Lecturer, you must hold a PhD in a relevant field; to be considered for the Associate Professor role you must also be registered as a medical practitioner within Australia.
