The Kirby Institute is the major research body in Australia with responsibility for research into the clinical and epidemiological aspects of HIV/AIDS.  It is also responsible for research into the clinical and epidemiological aspects of other blood borne viruses and sexually transmissible infections.


About the role

  • $82K-$87K plus (17% superannuation and leave loading)
  • Fixed Term for 2 years
  • Full-time (35 hours a week)

The Project Coordinator is responsible for the coordination, management and outputs of the Identifying Gaps in Achieving the Virtual Elimination of HIV Project (The Gaps Project) within the HIV Epidemiology and Prevention Program of the Kirby Institute, UNSW Sydney.

About the successful applicant

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Demonstrated experience and skills in project management.
  • Demonstrated capacity to interrogate databases and manipulate data.
  • An undergraduate qualification in a relevant field (e.g. health-related, biomedical, psychology, sociology/social policy), or equivalent combination of relevant experience, skills and qualifications.
