The Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute is recognized as an international centre of excellence in biomedical research, with a focus on heart disease and cardiovascular biology. The Institute maintains facilities for genetically modified rodents and zebrafish, where a high quality of animal care is coupled with excellent services for research. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with an interest in research animals to join our team. The contract will be twelve month maternity leave replacement with the possibility of part-time hours available. The ideal applicant will have qualifications in laboratory animal science or a related field. Prior experience with animals in a research setting is essential.
