About the opportunity 

An opportunity for a Marketing Coordinator has become available at the Seymour Centre, Performing Arts Centre of the University of Sydney. Working closely with the Marketing Manager and other members of the marketing team, you will devise and implement marketing campaigns for the Seymour’s core season shows, with particular focus on website and digital channels. . Success in the role will be the ability to achieve organisational objectives, maximise audience engagement, promote the Seymour brand and cultivate enduring partnerships.

  • Development,co-ordination and delivery of marketing collateral
  • Management of social media channels
  • eDM campaigns, website and content management
  • Working co-operatively in a small team environment

Located in the heart of the University of Sydney, the Seymour Centre champions cultural exploration, arts education and audience engagement. It presents a diverse range of the best of contemporary performing arts; hosts major festivals, presents large scale theatre productions and partners with small and emerging companies to develop and present innovative independent performance.

The marketing and ticketing team is responsible for promoting Seymour core season productions, and providing marketing support to hirers of the venue. The Marketing Coordinator is a key role in a small and passionate team of arts lovers, dedicated to developing the Seymour audiences and building the organisation’s brand.
