About the opportunity 

You will act as the first point of contact representing the Head of School and provide the full suite of professional executive support services such as diary management and travel arrangements. You will ensure critical activities and tasks are executed in an effective manner and enabling the Head of School to fulfil their academic and management accountabilities. Additionally you will be developing and maintaining relationships with the Office of the Dean, Faculty General Manager and all other staff across the Faculty to understand the key priorities of the Head of Schools.

 To be considered, you will possess:

  • tertiary qualifications in business and/or relevant business administrative experience
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience in handling a wide range of enquiries and providing excellent customer service
  • ability to work both independently and as part of a team, taking initiative and exercising sound judgement in resolving matters that may arise as part of normal daily work
  • well-developed interpersonal and relationship building skills with a focus on excellent customer service
  • excellent time and workload management skills with demonstrated ability to prioritise effectively, manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and achieve required outcomes
  • advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite, with extensive diary management experience.
