About the opportunity 

Reporting to the Manager, Placements, you will be working as part of the Education team which is responsible for the delivery of support for educational quality, educational innovation, educational design, faculty-based appeals, and educational integrity. This role focuses on student placements support, ensuring that all placements are organised in accordance with degree and accreditation requirements. You will make certain that placement information and student records are recorded accurately and these databases and systems are always up to date. It is your responsibility to also ensure that these information are reflected in the student systems correctly and placement assessments are carried out appropriately by academic staff.

To be considered, you will possess:

  • Certificate IV in business administration or equivalent with relevant experience in business administration
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience in handling a wide range of enquiries and an advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • ability to work both independently and as part of a team, taking initiative and exercising sound judgement in resolving matters that may arise as part of normal daily work
  • strong problem solving skills and the ability to use initiative and exercise sound judgement and ability to prioritise workload during busy periods
  • understanding of placements within the Sciences.
