The Victorian Government has launched the 2013 round of the Victorian International Research Scholarships for top-performing international scholars to complete their PhD at one of nine Victorian universities.

 

Minister for Innovation, Services and Small Business Louise Asher said under the Victoria – Leader in Learning initiative, $20,000 will be provided per year for three years for each of these scholarships which, together with support provided by the host university, are valued at $90,000 per PhD candidate.

 

A The Victorian International Research Scholarship program a four-year, $1.2 million program to encourage top international students to study in Victoria.

 

Victorian universities will nominate their top international students and applications will be assessed by a panel of experts. Students should contact their preferred Victorian university for more information.

 

Recipients of the 2012 scholarships will be announced in the new year.
