The Federal Government has launched the new Oral Health Cooperative Research Centre (CRC).

"This CRC combines our foremost oral health researchers with manufacturers and global marketing experts who have already established Australia as a global leader in oral health,” said Federal Innovation Minister Senator Kim Carr at the CRC’s launch at the University of Melbourne.

The CRC is backed by $30 million in Australian Government funding until June 2018.

Major collaborators in the Oral Health CRC include the Universities of Melbourne and Queensland, Monash University, CSL, Colgate Palmolive, GC Australasia Dental, Cadbury Enterprises and Murray Goulburn Cooperative.
