Boston Dynamics has unveiled ‘Handle’ - one of the most advanced humanoid robots ever.

Handle is equipped with some distinctive features, most notably a set of wheels at the ends of its two legs.

It can carry 45-kilogram weights and travel 24 kilometres at 15 km/hr –further and faster than it could with traditional bipedal locomotion.

While using wheels limits its overall range of uses, Boston Dynamics says Handle was designed to be significantly less complex than bipedal counterparts.
