Research Centre Coordinator COCA 


About the Opportunity

  
The Research Centre Coordinator- COCA is responsible for providing a range of coordination and administration support for the Centre for Organisational Change and Agility (COCA), to the Director of COCA, Pro Vice-Chancellor Research and Research Office more broadly.

Duties include supporting institutional accountabilities associated with individual accountabilities within COCA, including duties related to COCA reporting, records, grant and consultancy applications and administration, events and activities related to COCA Strategic Plan and broader TUA Strategic Research Plan.
  
Reporting to Director - COCA, you will be responsible for:
  • Provide professional administration and coordination support for COCA.
  • Support COCA on administration of the COCA Strategy and the broader TUA Strategic Research Plan.
  • Support administration of funding opportunities and applications of TUA Researchers.
  • Provide administrative support to meetings related to COCA activities.
  • Provide support in maintaining and developing relevant web pages.
  • Manage and process invoices, payments, expenses and travel related to COCA.
  • Support research seminars and workshops for HDR students and academics.
  • Support duties associated with the COCA related Ethics, HDR and Research Committees.
  • Other duties as required.
 
This is a permanent part-time position (0.4 spread across 2-3 days a week) based at our Wakefield St Campus in Adelaide
  
About You
  
To be successful in the Research Centre Coordinator position you will possess:
  • Experience within the Higher Education Sector
  • Experience in implementing and maintaining document management and control systems
  • Advanced MS Office program skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Exceptional organisational skills and commitment to detail
  • Highly developed time and project management skills and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and to effectively manage multiple projects including the organisation of events and functions
  • Strong verbal communication, interpersonal and public relations skills to enable professional interaction with a range of people and cultures including senior management and other staff
  • Exceptional written communication skills including demonstrated experience in drafting correspondence, presentations, and reports
  • Demonstrated experience in the preparation of agendas and minutes
