Project Manager, Cancer Clinical Trials

 

Exciting new opportunity to plan for expanded Cancer Clinical Trials at Royal North Shore Hospital (RNSH) toward a comprehensive cancer, haematology and palliative care clinical trials program. It is the rare chance to start a significant project from the beginning to ensure a high quality sustainable cancer clinical trials unit is established through significant seed funding that sets the benchmark for the future.

What you'll be doing

Due to special funding the project officer will have the opportunity to develop and prepare a detailed Cancer Clinical Trials project plan and budget specifically for the dynamic and future thinking RNSH cancer services.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

  1. Demonstrate your understanding of Core Values as per NSW Health.
  2. Tertiary qualification in health related /management field or relevant experience.
  3. Demonstrate your experience, particularly in the field of cancer care, that explains your suitability for the position.
  4. Identify your experience in clinical trials and in a research environment in particular in relation to cancer services including providing key relevant examples.
  5. Discuss your experience in all aspects of project management including development and implementation of specific projects.
