 About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team and lead the implementation of our enterprise software projects. The Project Manager will typically lead medium to large sized initiatives. You will be responsible for all aspects of the project lifecycle, from initial planning and execution to monitoring progress and ensuring successful delivery.

You will lead and manage a multi-disciplinary project team to effectively deliver the implementation of research management software at leading medical research institutes and universities.

The role will drive program outcomes through effective people management, high level stakeholder engagement and support for end users to ensure effective implementation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project plans and schedules aligned with best practise principles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including stakeholders, developers, testers, and business users.
• Facilitate daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning sessions, and retrospectives.
• Manage project risks and issues, taking proactive steps to mitigate problems.
• Track progress against key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on project status.
• Identify and implement process improvements to continuously optimise workflow.
• Manage project budgets and resources effectively.
• Maintain clear and concise communication with all stakeholders.
• Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.

About You

• A strong background in successfully managing and delivering organisational-wide ICT-enabled business change management projects.
• Expertise in applying established project management methodologies and providing advice on the use of appropriate project management techniques and tools.
• A well-developed leadership and team management skills, and experience in leading high profile multi-disciplinary project teams to achieve high quality project outcomes.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage influence and connect with others and build positive productive internal and external working relationships, often remotely.
• Expertise in applying established project management methodologies and providing advice on the use of appropriate project management techniques and tools.
• Knowledge of, or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of research management processes.
• A keen attention to detail, an unwavering commitment to excellence, and a demonstrated ability to maintain and enhance the integrity of our brand.
• Demonstrated ability to consistently deliver top-notch results and is dedicated to ensuring that our company's reputation remains unmatched.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Project Manager or similar role.
• Proven experience successfully leading and delivering software implementation projects.
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies preferred, including Scrum.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organisational skills.
• Ability to prioritise tasks, manage deadlines, and work independently.
• Proficient in project management tools and methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree.
