Position overview
The Research School of Biology, comprises a dynamic team of academics focused on achieving excellence in research and teaching. The School is currently seeking to appoint either a Postdoctoral fellow (Academic Level A) or a Research Fellow (Academic Level B) in the fields of genetic variation, gene expression, metabolism and wheat growth studies.
The successful candidate will have a PhD in Plant Biology with a track record of independent research in the field of plant molecular biology, quantitative genetics or bioinformatics with relevant experience and/or training and is looking to further develop their research potential with leading academics. As well as advancing his or her own research career, the successful candidate will help lead a project funded through the International Wheat Yield Partnership (IWYP) focused on improving wheat energy use efficiency.
