About This Opportunity
The Children's Health and Environment Program conducts a range of studies of childhood exposure to environmental hazards and resulting health effects. The Research Assistant provides technical research support and subject matter expertise in support of a number of epidemiological projects being conducted within the program, at all stages of the research life-cycle. The Research Assistant will work closely with an environmental epidemiologist and will assist in all activities, such as liaising with participants, data collection and basic analysis, writing manuscripts and general administration tasks. This research will be conducted at the Queensland Children's Hospital and the Child Health Research Centre.

This is a full-time (100%), fixed-term position for up to 1 year.
At HEW level 5, the full-time equivalent base salary will be in the range $75,878.89 - $84,342.92 plus a generous super allowance of up to 17%. The total FTE package will be up to $88,778.30 - $98,681.22 annually. As this role is covered by an Enterprise Agreement, you will also receive regular remuneration increases - at least once a year.
