  • $93,578 – $100,090 plus 17% superannuation and leave loading
  • Full time, Fixed term for 3 years with the possibility of extension
  • 50% of time will be spent on research agenda and 50% on teaching and teaching related activities within the School

UNSW Law is seeking to appoint a scholar at Associate Lecturer level to carry out research in connection with the Centre for Law, Markets and Regulation which is the premier research centre for the study of the dynamics of market regulation. The research work would be with and alongside Professor Dimity Kingsford Smith, holder of the Minter Ellison Chair in Risk and Regulation.

The scholar will hold a PhD or equivalent focused on law, regulation or public policy (awarded no earlier than 1 January 2014). The applicant would be assisted by expertise and interest in law, theory, policy or practice of financial regulation, corporation law and of lesser priority, risk management.

As a member of the School of Law, the Associate Lecturer would be responsible for contributing to the School’s teaching programs and as such would be expected to teach undergraduate courses and carry out the duties of an Associate Lecturer in their field of expertise and interest, and as required by Faculty.
