The Role

  • Continuing, Full Time
  • AU$115,617 to AU$133,238 pa (plus 17% superannuation)
  • Wagga Wagga

Actively engage in teaching, research and curriculum development related to the Medical Radiation Sciences in the School of Dentistry and Health Sciences.

The appointee will have extensive clinical experience within the field of medical imaging and can demonstrate education experience within the clinical and/or academic setting. The appointee will be responsible for teaching a range of subjects which may include general radiography, medical radiation science, professional fundamentals and clinical simulation.

It will be expected that multiple teaching methods (face to face and online delivery) are utilised. The appointee will participate in the administration and ongoing curriculum development and progress an active research profile that aligns with both the University and Schools direction.

To be successful you will have:

  • A doctoral qualification relevant to diagnostic radiography or equivalent accreditation and standing
  • Eligibility for full registration as a Diagnostic Radiographer with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), or for overseas trained practitioners, demonstrated evidence of having consulted with AHPRA regarding eligibility for registration
  • A minimum seven (7) years clinical experience in general radiography, computed tomography or magnetic resonance imaging, or combination of the above
  • A record of significant academic achievement relevant to diagnostic radiography, medical radiation sciences or health sciences, and at a national level in the scholarship of teaching, and/ or research, or professional activity
