The Role

• Full Time Continuing
• $94,478 to $153,204 pa (plus 17% superannuation)
• Wagga Wagga

This academic position is focussed on the delivery of excellence in undergraduate and postgraduate veterinary education and provision of referral level surgical services through the Kay Hull Veterinary Teaching Hospital, Small Animal Referral Hospital. This facility is equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic and surgical equipment. Advanced imaging is provided through the Veterinary Clinical Centre. Veterinarians with specialist qualification and those having completed surgical residency are encouraged to apply.

The successful appointee will be expected to participate in teaching and research to provide academic leadership in administration, as appropriate to the relevant appointment level.

To be successful you will have

• Qualifications relevant to the level being applied for as specified in the Selection Criteria;
• Completion of surgical residency or equivalent advanced surgical training and experience;
• An ability to contribute to course and subject design, and to deliver high-quality student-centred learning and teaching; and
• Demonstrated high level written and oral communication and interpersonal skills including negotiating, presenting, active listening and the giving and receiving of constructive feedback
