About the job

Swinburne seeks an experienced professional to lead a high performing team that supports the university’s research communications, research events and research outreach activities. These include ensuring the successful organisation and implementation of high-profile research communications and activities in line with the Research and Innovation Strategy. The role will work closely with the university’s Media, Marketing and Web Services teams to ensure seamless and consistent delivery and support for research communications, research web services and research marketing strategy implementation.

About you

To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience as a communications professional, ideally working in research or higher education environment.
  • Extensive project management experience.
  • Enthusiasm, creativity, energy and self-motivation with a flexible, outcomes and solutions-oriented attitude and approach.
