ARC Centre for Mine Site Restoration
The ARC Centre for Mine Site Restoration is a joint research initiative of Curtin University, Kings Park and the University of Western Australia. The Centre aims to deliver a suite of integrated and focused research projects underpinning successful mining restoration outcomes in collaboration with multiple industry partners.
PhD Overview
A scholarship with the ARC Centre for Mine Site Restoration is available to undertake a PhD in the theme of Rare Species. The project is a unique opportunity to work in the nexus of restoration science and industry with practical outcomes to deliver on real-world rare flora challenges.

The successful applicant will be enrolled through Curtin University and research will be supervised by Dr Sean Tomlinson, Dr Shane Turner, Prof Grant Wardell-Johnson and Prof Kingsley Dixon..
Value
The Centre for Mine Site Restoration Postgraduate Scholarships provide an annual stipend for up to three years. Successful candidates will receive a stipend of $30,746 p/a tax-free stipend + operating funds.
Eligibility criteria
Students with a relevant Honours or Masters degree, or who can demonstrate equivalence through work experience and/or publication(s). Must be eligible to enrol in a PhD at Curtin University.
