About the Faculty
The Faculty of Science is the fifth largest in terms of student enrolments and the largest in terms of research revenue of the seven faculties at UTS. It is also the second largest in terms of total academic and support staff. The Faculty’s organisational structure comprises two Schools, two Research Institutes, nine Research Facilities, a Technical Services unit and general Faculty administrative services.

About the role
This role will see you providing first-class administrative support to research activities within the Faculty of Science. A varied role you’ll support across a diverse range of activities such as HDR student applications, administrative aspects of research funding applications and research output management, supporting faculty research committees, and internal research-related reports.

About you
An experienced administrator you will be able to deftly balance priorities and deadlines whilst maintaining accurate and timely records on a large and growing portfolio of funded research projects. A born communicator, you will be comfortable liaising at a range of different levels with a diverse community of stakeholders. Key to this role is the provision of high level of customer service and as such, you will see yourself as client-focused and outcome-driven. In an ideal world, you will also have experience in working in university sector in research administration, however this is not mandatory.

Remuneration & Benefits

Base Salary Range: $67,614 to $ 77,351 pa (HEW5)
This role attracts 17% superannuation in addition to the base salary.

This position is full-time and appointment will be made on a continuing basis.
