Patent Examiner Mechanical Chemical Engineers

IP Australia is looking for Mechanical and Chemical Engineers to join us as Patent Examiners.

Patent Examiners assess Australian and international patent applications to determine whether the application meets legislative requirements. Through the examination process, Patent Examiners are among the first to see new developments in technology and marketing.

We are seeking candidates with a degree or diploma, preferably with some experience in research or industry, in the area of Mechanical and Chemical Engineering.

Eligibility 
Applicants must possess a degree in a relevant area of technology; or a diploma together with appropriate industry experience. (A degree obtained overseas must conform to Australian professional standards and be formally recognised). Applicants must be Australian citizens.
