Regulatory Affairs is an integral part of the Research Support and
Governance department in the Support Division and works with researchers to ensure compliance with ethical standards and legislative requirements.

Reporting to the Regulatory Affairs Manager you will provide expert assistance and guidance to researchers on clinical trials and research governance requirements, identify opportunities to streamline clinical trial approvals and review potential clinical trials to ensure budgets are appropriate and contracts are in place with third parties or collaborators. You will project manage the Sponsor requirements for approved Clinical Trials and monitor/audit research projects/clinical trials. As a integral member of the team, you will ensure system and processes are reviewed.

To be successful in this role, you will hold a research or health-related qualification. You will have experience in interpreting research related guidelines/legislation and in reviewing contracts, budgets and legal agreements for clinical trials and research activities. This role requires an ability to maintain high work standards while working proficiently during periods of high demand and activity. If you are highly organized with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and attention to detail are words that describe you well, this is the role for you.  

Salary range is $78,370- $85,261 per annum. This is a full time permanent appointment.
