An exciting opportunity exists in the Grants Management Office at UNSW for a continuing appointment as a Team Leader. The successful applicant will have a proven track record in leading a team; the delivery of high quality customer service and substantial administrative experience in a high volume office environment.
The Grants Management Office (GMO) contributes to the University’s research performance and profile via the effective management of research applications, grants, contracts, consulting research and internal funding. GMO grant teams work with researchers to ensure that all grant applications comply with sponsor requirements, are submitted on time and that researchers holding funding meet all sponsor financial and progress reporting requirements; and that information stored in the management system is accurate and reliable.
About the role
This position is part of a team dedicated to the management of research grant applications and post-award funding; including grants, contracts, consulting research; internal funding; and the delivery of high quality customer focused services to the University. Under the supervision of the Team Leader, Grants Officers works closely with other team members and colleagues from other research support units such as the Research Finance and Research Strategy Offices. The position will be based in one of the three teams encompassing a variety of faculties, schools and centres.
