The Kirby Institute is the major research body in Australia with responsibility for research into the clinical and epidemiological aspects of HIV/AIDS.  It is also responsible for research into the clinical and epidemiological aspects of other blood borne viruses and sexually transmissible infections.


About the role

  • $82K-$97K plus (17% superannuation and leave loading)
  • Fixed Term for 2 years
  • Full-time (35 hours a week)

The Clinical Project Coordinator is responsible to the EPIC-NSW and PrEPIT-WA Senior Clinical Project Coordinator for day to day aspects of the coordination, management and site support of the EPIC-NSW and PrEPIT-WA Study and related sub-studies within the HIV Epidemiology and Prevention Program of The Kirby Institute.

About the successful applicant

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Demonstrated management of clinical trial data and clinical trial databases, and research specimen management.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating and monitoring multi-centre clinical trials/research studies.
  • Graduate biomedical science qualifications or other medical qualifications including nursing.
  • At the higher level you would be expected to have experience managing all aspects of clinical projects.
