Lead WWF-Australia's scientific expertise on Conservation impact measuring and evaluation to identify future success stories for conservation.

This new role will work in collaboration with WWF’s team of conservation scientists to lead WWF-Australia’s effort in identifying the most effective conservation strategies using “impact evaluation” methodologies that draw upon best practice.
About the role
The role will lead on the development, implementation and refinement of an impact measuring and evaluation approach and on the establishment of a framework to: better inform strategic planning and adaptive management; grow technical capability-building; improve the quality of conservation proposal development; and, capture success stories on the difference WWF's environmental conservation work is making to engage with our supporters.
Skills, knowledge and experience
Ideally, you will have practical experience with field-based conservation activities and advocacy based strategies together with a working knowledge of 'The Open Standards for the Practice of Conservation' and a network of relevant scientists and practitioners. A Master’s degree preferably with a Ph.D. in a relevant social, natural science or a quantitative discipline is highly desirable.
