Applications are invited for the position of Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Telomere Length Regulation Unit. The successful candidate will be a dynamic and highly motivated PhD graduate with expertise in molecular biology, cell biology and bioinformatics. Research in the Telomere Length Regulation Unit focuses on telomere maintenance mechanisms in normal and cancer cells, DNA damage and repair pathways, and the development of therapeutic interventions that target telomere maintenance in cancers. The project will specifically focus on investigating telomeric replication stress in cancers that use the Alternative Lengthening of Telomeres (ALT) pathway. Candidates should have a PhD in molecular biology, interest in telomere biology and/or genome stability, a strong publication track record, and excellent written and presentation skills. Self-motivation, independence and a team spirit are important attributes. This is a fantastic opportunity to enter a productive laboratory in a dynamic and professional research organization.
