We offer an exciting opportunity for a Research Worker ($75,726 - $82,015) to join our world-leading institution at James Cook University (JCU). This part time, fixed term appointment for 2 years from commencement is based at JCU Cairns.
What you can accomplish in the Role
The Reef Restoration and Adaptation Program is believed to be the world’s largest research and development program dedicated to helping a major ecosystem survive climate change. The Research Worker will support senior research staff undertaking collaborative research oriented toward understanding stakeholder and public perceptions of reef restoration and adaptation.
What you will bring to the Role
Joining a multi-institutional team of social scientists, you will perform high level project management support to JCU research staff involved in the RRAP Community Engagement Subprogram. Your significant analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage and interpret complex qualitative and quantitative data will see you provide project reports, advice and communications as required to ensure specified project outputs and milestones are on time and within budget.
