The Institute for Religion, Politics and Society examines religion as a dynamic political and social force shaping the world around us. Looking at the interplay between religion and major social structures — including the economy, politics and law — the Institute seeks on the one hand, to address key contemporary social challenges including religious and politically motivated violence, economic decline and fragmentation within liberal democracies whilst on the other to understand the dimensions of successful societies and the potentially positive role of religion in addressing these challenges.
The Institute is seeking an experienced professional manage and lead all operational and financial activities of the Institute. Contributing to the achievement of the Institute’s research strategy and ACU’s research mission, you will:
With extensive experience in research management within a higher education institution, and knowledge of competitive research grants schemes, you will be able effectively to manage compliance and operational requirements to support the Institute.
