The Data Management Applications team within CSIRO IMT, develops solutions that support CSIRO’s science and business functions. The team supports bespoke in-house developed enterprise and business unit specific products. The team operates using agile practices and has a policy of continuous review and improvement. The successful candidate will operate in an agile and highly collaborative environment working in an interdisciplinary team involving other testers, developers, business analysts, infrastructure specialists, data librarians, executive managers and other stakeholders.

The successful candidate will need to have the capability to contribute to the delivery of solutions and services in support of CSIRO’s strategic and operational objectives, be able to work under direction as part of a team, as well as demonstrate initiative, leadership and independence.

Your duties will include:

  • Undertake test analysis, planning, execution and reporting in support of a range of project activities.
  • Perform system, functional, integration, regression and accessibility testing as per test strategy and test plan.
  • Raise defects/issues and follow-up outstanding testing defects/issues.
  • Report on test progress and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement activities of the team.
  • Contribute positively to stimulate and promote a team approach and develop sound working relationships with application users and business owners.

Location: Black Mountain ACT, Dutton Park QLD, Kensington WA or Clayton VIC
Salary: AU$66k - AU$84k plus up to 15.4% superannuation
