The Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Geospatial Analyst to join our CSIRO Land & Water business unit, and provide geospatial support to a broad range of environmental management projects.
As a Geospatial Analyst, you will join our “Living Landscapes Research Program” that focuses on providing the necessary science/technical expertise, tools & technologies to enable policy and investment to protect and manage natural systems, so that biodiversity flourishes, ecosystems function & adapt, and ecosystems services are maintained!
In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the computer-based aspects of a wide range of research projects, developing geospatial data processing workflows and analysing large satellite datasets. You will bring your technical expertise to conduct necessary fieldwork and make significant contributions to geostatistical investigations. As a result, you will also be required to travel to various parts of the Northern Territory, including remote areas, to conduct fieldwork and research.
