The Opportunity
CSIRO’s Land and Water Business is seeking a highly motivated Hydrological Modeller to bring together a diverse spectrum of scientific and engineering capabilities using world-class infrastructure to partner with industry in order to develop innovative research.
You will contribute to the strong multi-disciplinary capability in the Water Security Program of the L&W Business Unit, which undertakes research into hydrology and water resources, water-agriculture-livelihood interactions, integrated basin management, and adaptation to a changing climate.
You will be leading a part of externally funded projects responsible to provide baseline hydroclimate projections and hydrological impacts which are required for other researchers to assess changes to river systems operation and policy settings to support river management and indirectly enhance economics, and environmental and social growth.

Salary: AU$102k - AU$111k plus up to 15.4% superannuation
