Bioconjugation Chemistry Research Scientist
CSIRO’s Manufacturing Business Unit brings together multi-disciplinary scientific and engineering capabilities using world-class infrastructure to partner with industry in order to develop innovative products and processes to allow Australian manufacturers to be globally competitive and environmentally sustainable. The Biomedical Manufacturing Research Program works with biomedical companies to deliver new medical treatments and technologies that benefit millions of people in Australia and overseas, helping them live longer, healthier, and more productive lives.
As a research scientist in bioconjugation chemistry, you will use your expertise in synthetic organic chemistry, antibody bioconjugation, protein modification and protein purification, polymer chemistry, bioconjugation of small molecules and polymers to proteins, conjugation of small molecules to polymers, and polymer-protein conjugates. You will contribute to a wide range of bioconjugation projects. This is a great opportunity to develop a state-of-the-art research program within CSIRO's Manufacturing business unit, building innovation within chemical biology and bioconjugation techniques.
Location: Clayton, Melbourne
Salary: AU$100k – AU$108k plus up to 15.4% superannuation
