National Research Collections Relocation Manager
CSIRO’s National Research Collections Australia (NRCA) discovers and characterises Australia’s unique biodiversity so that it can be conserved, managed and used for the benefit of our people, industry and environment in a changing world. NRCA provides biological research infrastructure and capability to the Australian and international community, delivering specimens, data, science, training and advice to end-users across government, industry and the STEM sector.
The Canberra Collections Accommodation Project (CCAP) is a co-funded project with the Department of Education, Skills and Employment (DESE) to build a new purpose-built research facility for NRCA on the CSIRO Black Mountain site.
As the Collections Relocation Manager, you will prepare the Collections for the move and oversee the relocation itself. You will work closely alongside the Collection Managers, NRCA Leadership Team and CCAP Project Director, and part of this role will include recruiting a dedicated team to support you.
Location: Canberra (Black Mountain), ACT. Some time at Crace, Canberra will also be required.
Salary: AU$113k - AU$132k plus up to 15.4% superannuation (pro-rata for part time)

To be eligible for this position you must be an Australian or New Zealand Citizen, an Australian Permanent or Australian Temporary Resident for the duration of the proposed term (without the requirement for sponsorship by CSIRO). This does not include bridging and other visas which are dependent on the successful approval of future visas.
The successful applicant will also be required to obtain and provide a National Police Check or equivalent.
