CSIRO Postdoctoral Fellowship in El Niño-Southern Oscillation Under Greenhouse Warming
CSIRO Early Research Career (CERC) Postdoctoral Fellowships provide opportunities to scientists and engineers who have completed their doctorate and have less than three years of relevant postdoctoral work experience. These fellowships aim to develop the next generation of future leaders of the innovation system.
This outstanding opportunity arises from establishment of the Centre for Southern Hemisphere Oceans Research (CSHOR), The CSHOR objective is to increase investment in ocean-climate research in order to improve our understanding of how the southern hemisphere oceans influence global and regional climate, and how the climate influences these oceans.
In this position you will undertake research to study dynamics of El Niño-Southern Oscillation (ENSO), the impacts, and the response to climate change.
Location: Aspendale, VIC
Salary: AU$86k - AU$94k plus up to 15.4% superannuation
