As the Livestock Technical Officer, you will support livestock research with a focus on the northern beef industry. You will deliver technical expertise to projects covering research into ruminant feed efficiency, mitigation of greenhouse gas emissions from beef cattle and digital technologies in support of the beef industry. The role will include both desktop, laboratory and field work with the latter being conducted mainly at the Lansdown Research Station (50 km south of Townsville) but potentially also at remote locations across Australia.
Location: Townsville, QLD
Salary: AU$63k – AU$80k plus up to 15.4% superannuation
