The Opportunity
The Position
The CSIRO Cotton Breeding Program has significant research activities at the Australian Cotton Research Institute (ACRI) and tests advanced breeding materials at multiple off-station sites across the entire industry.
We are currently looking for an Agricultural Research Assistant to work on day-to-day operations for supporting research activities through the practical application of field, crop, water and pesticide management.
If you want to participate in the planning and conducting of breeding experiments at ACRI, CSIRO and at off-station sites and want to assist in the progress of breeding research both in field and in controlled environment, then this is the opportunity for you! In this position you will be required to work as an important team member in the Breeding Support team to develop enhanced new varieties suitable for all cotton growing regions of Australia.

Salary: AU$47,622 - AU$61,383 plus up to 15.4% superannuation
