The Position
CSIRO Early Research Career (CERC) Postdoctoral Fellowships provide opportunities to scientists and engineers who have completed their doctorate and have less than three years relevant postdoctoral work experience. These fellowships aim to develop the next generation of future leaders of the innovation system.
CSIRO’s Energy is seeking to appoint a CERC Postdoctoral Fellow in direct air capture using amine solutions. Direct air capture is increasingly seen as a necessary part of the technology portfolio that will address the global challenge of man-made climate change.
As the successful candidate you will develop and assess innovative gas-liquid contacting concepts that enable efficient capture of CO2 from ambient air. These concepts will be inspired by gas/liquid contactors found in nature such as leaves.

Salary: AU$83,687 - AU$94,579 plus up to 15.4% superannuation
