The position:
The role of Research Projects staff in CSIRO is to collaborate in scientific activities with other staff usually by assisting with detailed planning, undertaking or assisting with experimental and observational tasks, and in carrying out the more practical aspects of this work.
As a Research Technician with CSIRO Agriculture and Food, you will support the implementation of real-time insect monitoring technology by undertaking tasks associated with the identification, collection and processing of entomological field data (observational, sensor and camera based), and the installation of real-time insect monitoring grids. You will hold responsibility for the maintenance and care of insect and plant cultures, and generating content for web page upgrades.

Salary: AU $61k to AU $78k per annum, plus up to 15.4% superannuation
