CSIRO’s Data61 is the digital technologies and data science arm of Australia’s national science agency. This Robotics Technician role is focused on supporting our growing fleet of wheeled, tracked and legged robots and upcoming projects as well general maintenance of other plant and equipment. The Robotics Technician will work with researchers and engineers in our Robotics and Autonomous Systems group to support innovative solutions for robotic applications.
The successful candidate will be a multiskilled technician with the capability to diagnose, repair and build robot systems which are designed by our engineers and researchers. This individual might be an experienced Electronics Technician with strong mechanical skills or an experienced Fitter or Auto Electrician with strong electronics skills, or experience in a related field.
Location: Pullenvale, Brisbane, QLD.
Salary: AU $89,680 to AU $101,459 per annum (pro-rata for part-time) - plus up to 15.4% superannuation
