The Opportunity
The L-LEED team is a part of the Engineering & Design program in Data61 where you will be encouraged to choose your own tools, and have the freedom to come up with your own solutions to problems.
Your ability to learn fast, contribute ideas, and use agile approaches to develop prototype and production software and help integrate cutting edge privacy and security-related technologies will be crucial to your success in this role. As a member of the L-LEED team, you’ll use Python, and where appropriate other languages, to help drive the development of a microservice architecture for prototypes and then production systems that enable access to and analysis of sensitive distributed federated data.
You will have the ability to confidently assess and apply current technical best practices, as well as explore possible uses for new technology in the ongoing evolution of a product are key for this role. Strong communication skills and a collaborative focus are essential to this role, as we are a team with expertise in various disciplines that needs to work together cohesively to deliver best in class outcomes.
Your duties will include
Location: Sydney, NSW (preferred) or Canberra, ACT (negotiable)
Salary: CSOF5 - AU $97,276 to AU $105,269 plus up to 15.4% superannuation
CSOF6 - AU $111,663 to AU $130,848 plus up to 15.4% superannuation
Tenure: 2x specified term of 2 years
