The School of Aerospace, Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering is nationally and internationally renowned for academic excellence and industry engagement in the discipline areas of Aerospace and Aviation Engineering, Manufacturing and Materials Engineering, and Mechanical and Automotive Engineering. We are widely recognised for our programs characterised by innovative project based learning and work integrated learning, supreme research facilities and robust relations with local and international industry leaders.

The Associate Professor in Aerospace Engineering is expected to make a significant contribution to the teaching and research efforts in Aerospace Engineering especially in the area of aerospace manufacturing and 3D printing. The Associate Professor will be required to participate in the academic activities of the School and the College and to pursue a program of professional development consistent with the strategic goals of the School.

As the successful candidate, you will possess a PhD in a relevant discipline area with a background in Aerospace Manufacturing or other relevant Engineering discipline. You will have proven ability to prepare and win competitive research grants with industry and have demonstrated experience in supervising PhD research students. In addition, you will have proven expertise in 3D printing applied in aerospace manufacturing.
