Do you demonstrate a culture of integrity, respect and excellence as an experienced Research Academic in Pharmaceutical Sciences or Pharmacology?

The School of Pharmacy is seeking to recruit research academics with personal and professional attributes that will enhance the School’s research performance and contribute to research growth in the fields of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Pharmacology. This is one of three new research academic positions with modest teaching loads to foster high-calibre research achievements. Success in these roles will be defined by outstanding performance metrics and contribution to a world-class research culture.

This opportunity will suit an academic or researcher with expertise in Pharmaceutical Sciences or Pharmacology and a capacity to teach undergraduate and postgraduate students in the discipline area. To be successful you require a doctoral qualification in Pharmaceutical Science or Pharmacology or a closely related field. A track record of multidisciplinary research collaborations and/or expertise in biopharmaceutics or drug metabolism research would be highly regarded. Demonstrated high levels of performance and leadership, with a consistent record of excellence in research and an ability to provide leadership in research is required.

The School of Pharmacy provides the only Bachelor of Pharmacy degree in WA and delivers a Master of Pharmacy (Graduate Entry) degree. Both courses are fully accredited by the Australian Pharmacy Council. Graduate research programs (MPhil and PhD) are a strategic priority and are managed by the Deputy Head of School.

The School of Pharmacy is based in Bentley and within a biomedical sciences precinct, including the new Curtin Medical School.
