Roy Morgan is recruiting reliable, self-motivated people to conduct home visits as part of the Household, Income and Labour Dynamics in Australia HILDA, Living In Australia study. All household visits are by appointment only - no cold calling!

From July 2024 through to February 2025 Roy Morgan will be conducting their annual HIILDA survey, with the opportunity for work beyond this period. This is a fantastic opportunity suiting people who have research interviewing experience or similar skills in teaching, training, HR, performing arts, retail, call centres - in fact if you love talking to people, we'd love to talk to you. If you're semi-retired or retired this is also a perfect job for you!

The HILDA study is just one of many major projects at Roy Morgan offering plenty of opportunity for everyone wanting consistent work of 20+ hours per week across weekdays and weekends. If you want, you could be working full time hours on multiple projects.

What you'll need:

  • Legal right to work in Australia.
  • 100+ hours of market research interviewing or similar experience.
  • Available to consistently work 20+ hours per week across weekdays and weekends.
  • A valid driver's licence, and access to a reliable, registered vehicle.
  • Hold a National Police Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
  • Clean and tidy appearance, with a friendly and professional attitude.
  • Mature social skills and ability to relate to a diverse community.
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English.

We want you to succeed and enjoy the experience, so you will receive fully paid training and ongoing support.

Successful applicants will have the potential to earn great rates:

  • $32.96 p/h base rate - $36 per hour for this project
  • $0.91 per kilometre for use of your own vehicle (where applicable)
  • Reimbursement for job related expenses application fees for required checks.
