Full Time Fixed Term Contract – 38 hours per week
Salary range: $58,356 to $67,733 per annum plus superannuation

The Corangamite Catchment Management Authority (CMA) ensures the protection and sustainable development of land, biodiversity and water resources within a boundary stretching from Geelong to Ballarat and along the coast to Peterborough. In this role, you will be responsible for delivery of environmental water and estuary management projects in the Corangamite CMA region.

Through the development of partnerships with government agencies, environmental advocates and the community, the Estuary and Water Planning Officer will develop, manage and implement projects in relation to the priorities of the Corangamite Waterway Strategy, seasonal watering plans, estuary management plans and other associated strategic documents as relevant.

You will possess excellent interpersonal skills to deal with a range of internal and external stakeholders, gain cooperation and assistance from others, and to work effectively within a team environment to positively engage at all levels within the organisation. 

An appropriate qualification in environmental engineering, environmental science, natural resource management or associated disciplines are highly desirable, as well as knowledge of waterway management and functions.
