The Research Officer / Clinical Trials Coordinator at The Albion Centre (Albion) will coordinate, and is responsible for accurate data collection and protocol coordination for clients eligible for, or participating in, clinical trials and research studies. This role is also supportive of in-house quality improvement and auditing activities.

Selection Criteria

  1. Tertiary qualifications in health promotion and/or public health or related discipline.
  2. Demonstrates a high level written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to identify key issues and concerns when communicating with others.
  3. Demonstrates the ability to proactively engage with clients to enhance service delivery and to guide others in providing service excellence.
  4. Demonstrates the ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and to apply professional and ethical boundaries when dealing with complex situations.
  5. Excellent computer skills and ability to adopt technology to maximise efficiency and demonstrated ability to use health information systems.
  6. Demonstrates an understanding of Good Clinical Research Practice (GCRP) in clinical trials and research and the able to implement analytic and problem solving methodology to clinical trials, research, quality activities and auditing.
  7. Venepuncture skills or preparedness to undergo such training.
