What you'll be doing

  • The Head of Audiology provides leadership and operational management to the Audiology Department in accordance with Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network’s goals and objectives.  
  • Develops strategies and policies to ensure the delivery of a quality audiology service that is accessible, equitable and evidence-based, to patients, families and other key stakeholders.  
  • Leads the Audiology team in the continual development of the Audiology service in collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders environment 
  • Foster a climate of continual learning and professional development to attract and retain quality staff in a challenging work. 
  • Accurately assess hearing sensitivity of infants and children of all ages, and adults if applicable using the full range of objective and behavioural methods currently available.
