Clinical trials conducted by academic research centres adopt different models for managing and conducting clinical trials, which differs from the pharmaceutical industry models and contract research organisations.

The CTC has undergone significant growth over past 30 years at the University of Sydney and has had a huge impact on medical research and health care nationally and internationally. The CTC now has over 180 staff and works in collaboration with more than 1000 clinician researchers and health professionals in Australia and overseas.

Since our inception 160 years ago, the University of Sydney has led to improve the world around us. We believe in education for all and that effective leadership makes lives better.
