Clinical Trials Assistant - Oncology Group

  • Fixed Term, full-time for 12 months with possible annual extension and base salary $74K p.a plus superannuation

 

About the opportunity 

We are looking for an enthusiastic Clinical Trials Assistant to join the Clinical Trials Oncology group. This team works with national and international collaborative groups on multi-disciplinary and multicentre clinical trials in cancer.

You will be responsible for performing general and trial-related administrative duties to support the Clinical Trials team, under the direction of the Clinical Trials Operations Lead

Your daily tasks will include preparing trial documents, maintaining records, data entry, updating and collating materials, responding to queries, and exploring and sourcing solutions for NHMRC CTC trial team, managers and central services, as required.

You will require strong communication, administrative, and organisational skills to coordinate and undertake a range of operational activities on an ongoing basis.

  • bachelor’s degree or combination of equivalent experience and/or education/training in Clinical Trials
  • demonstrated experience in basic clinical trials administration or experience in a similar field
  • basic understanding of GCP guidelines and protocol requirements for clinical trials
  • demonstrated understanding of the research project life-cycle
  • well-developed data entry skills and excellent attention to detail

The successful candidates will have knowledge of clinical trials administrative processes. They will also have excellent communication skills, well-developed interpersonal skills and organisational skills.
