About the opportunity
The Mathematics Learning Centre currently provides support for eligible undergraduate students to develop the mathematics content knowledge, skills and confidence necessary for their successful completion of their first level mathematics or statistics units of study. Our students’ capacities are developed through an extensive program of bridging courses, on-line learning resources and workshop tutorials and through individual support in the Mathematics Learning Centre Drop-in Centre. The work of the Mathematics Learning Centre is research and evidence based.

About us
The Academic Enrichment unit encompasses the Learning Centre and the Mathematics Learning Centre.
Academic Enrichment works with both students and faculty staff to provide student support in the areas of communication, language, learning, mathematics and statistics.
In addition to the co-curricular support programs run by the Learning Centre and Mathematics Learning Centre for students, Academic Enrichment works collaboratively with faculties to embed communication and language development, provide support for learning, the development of graduate qualities, academic integrity and mathematics and statistics development. Our programs advance and enrich student learning, and support students' development of the graduate qualities.
Our programs are underpinned by our research within discipline areas such as the mathematical sciences, education and linguistics; and relevant higher education, assessment and evaluation literature. Our teaching programs also inform discipline and higher education research.
