• Fixed Term, full-time until 20 December 2019 and base salary $84K p.a plus superannuation

About the opportunity 

The Teaching and Curriculum Support Officer will provide secretariat support to the Education Committee; prepare the Education Committee annual meeting schedule; determine and compile the necessary curriculum approval documentation and workflows for review; establish and maintain a SharePoint site  to house curriculum and governance records as appropriate; and support the implementation of Faculty wide solutions such as those related to Academic Appeals.

The incumbent will also be responsible for preparing documents and maintaining records, developing and updating Intranet materials, responding to queries, and sourcing solutions in relation to curriculum and governance matters as related to education.

• Tertiary qualifications with sound experience in University Governance and Curriculum work / or equivalent combination of relevant experience and training.
• previous experience supporting education programmes preferably in a tertiary education environment
• sound knowledge of systems and databases used within the University (SS, SITS, Sharepoint or equivalent)
• demonstrated high level secretariat, administrative and organisational skills

The successful candidate will have excellent communications skills, will be a strong team player and will take initiative. They will also be flexible and adaptable to change, have a proactive approach and willing to undertake additional tasks and responsibilities.
